I just realized I didn't do a New Year's post. Our New Years holiday is usually fairly uneventful. I honestly can't remember the last time I made it to midnight and this past year was no exception. We let the kids stay up as late as they wanted and I put out all kinds of snacks for us to just have all night long. The kids tried really hard to stay up but ended up crashing I think around 8:30. I honestly can't remember what us adults did after that. We might have played games or watched a movie, I don't know I was pretty tired. When Ava and Kael woke up though they were so disappointed that they missed the big event at midnight! I had bought sparkling cider and little party horn things so we had a really fun re-creation of the big event at noon! I poured some cider and we pulled up the ball drop on the computer and counted down until noon.
It was seriously the best way to celebrate the New Year.
On New Year's Day we all went to the driving range. Kael and I didn't last very long but Andre & Ava had a great time.
