It's ok though, we actually celebrated last week. A very good friend, Sister McLeod watched the kiddos for a whole night! We went to the LDS Raleigh temple, and then to PF Changs, which I've decided is my favorite restaurant.

It was SO nice to be able to go to the temple. One of the few things I miss about Utah is having easy access to the temple.
I did have the kids decorate some cookies a couple of days ago. It was really fun!
Kael is thinking, "What the heck? Why is everything pink?!" At least that's what the look on his face told me.
And then last Saturday was Andre's first day off in a looooong time! So we did what any family would do, and went to the snake museum! It was really cool. Ava just wanted to hold all the snakes though which was kind of scary and funny. Kael would just walk by the alligators and snap his jaws at them, which seemed kind of backwards.
That bright green one reminds me of the jungle book.
Well I've finished the first Charlie Bones book by Jenny Nimmo. And the verdict is...awesome! I also finished The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown, which I have to say, I did not enjoy as much. I really liked some of his other things, but I felt like this one was a little slow, and a little dark for me. It was not terrible, but overall, I would probably not recommend it.
While we're on the subject of reviews, I would like to take a minute to review some public restroom hand dryers. This is a really serious topic, and I would appreciate your full cooperation. I did not keep track of public restroom hand dryers as avidly as I do now until one day I went into a certain store. I used their bathroom, then went to wash my hands. I then went to dry my hands and saw I could use regular paper towels, or I could use their Dyson super powered hand dryer! Which is the obvious route? I clearly could not pass up the Dyson. It was awesome! You stick your hands in vertically and in just a few short seconds your hands are more dry then before you even washed them! Too bad it couldn't clip my nails while my hands were in there. Then one day we were in Food Lion, and Ava had to go potty. So we did the same routine and again I was left with a choice. Theirs is not as cool in appearance, but I put my hands under the warm air, pressed the button, and my skin nearly jumped off my hand! It was more powerful than the dyson! It was kind of gross to see my skin move around and see clearly just the bones in my hand. But cool at the same time. I've tried a few others that have been "so so." Wal Mart, Harris Teeter, you need to step up! My best hand dryer award overall goes to.....Costco! They were the ones with the Dyson. Not the MOST powerful, but overall coolest experience. Please tell me of cool places you have gone and rate the hand dryers! This is your challenge of the week.
TTFN! (Don't know what that means, but according to Tigger it means "ta ta for now!)
PS- I'm sorry my pics are always all jacked up, and this is terrible, but I'm way too lazy to go back and fix it.
So, I decided to go to your blog because I read a facebook comment about your "family". Not being in the loop at all...I find you have two GORGEOUS children! Oh my goodness, Stephanie! I am so pleased to see your little family and see how happy you are!---Jan Parker
