Over the weekend Andre and I went down to Mayfaire and browsed through a bunch of stores. I found myself daydreaming while walking through some of my absolute favorites- Gap Kids, Williams Sonoma, J. Crew, Pottery Barn, and of course, Banana Republic. When I am walking through these stores people tell me I get in this trance like state. I can tell you what is going on inside my head; opportunities. Unfortunately these opportunities require a certain amount of wealth that my current state doesn't allow. While I was in Banana Republic however, I fell in love. With a red jacket. It was one of those items that looked awesome on the hanger, and then looked even better on me, which is very hard to pull off. I loved the color, loved the style, loved the fabric, but did not love the price tag. I can't bring myself to spend $150 on a jacket. I wish I could stop thinking about it, but I can't.
Today however I was walking out of good ol' food lion carrying my groceries and I looked down at myself and you know what I saw? Jeans, a super mario t-shirt, and an Army jacket. So you know what red jacket that I love? My outfit today rocked. I'm breaking up with you.
