Camping

We went camping Memorial Day weekend. We just went up to lake Leamon and stayed one night there. It was so awesome. The kids got free fishing poles on Saturday so we took those with us. I thought my son would love fishing, but I was wrong! He liked it ok but he would much rather pick up mud, sticks, dirt, bugs, and anything else. But Ava loved it so much and picked it up really quickly! She was casting her own line and doing a really good job. I can honestly say I wish we hadn't waited so long to go camping. It is the most relaxing family (mini) trip that we've ever gone on. We just fished, ate, played, and the kids could get as dirty as they wanted. For once in their life.

I can't wait to go again. However it was freezing in the night! I woke up in the middle of the night and seriously thought we would maybe have to just drive home. We survived though and the kids loved every minute.

Andre about freaked out in the lake. I don't think he's really been to many lakes and wasn't expecting the completely slimy mud feeling.



That was our super fun camping trip! The next morning when we took down the tent about 20+ spiders went crawling as fast as they could. They had been chilling all over the outside of our tent.
