Trochez Clan: Spring 2014

Has it really been since New Years that I last posted?? Whoa.

Well last week it was our spring break and we went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte! It was really fun although next time we go it will be a shorter trip. Everything there is so expensive, thank goodness we brought groceries because their food prices are worse than Disneyworld! We got the kid cabin room which had a little cabin inside our room with bunk beds for the kids. They also have a huge waterpark and MagiQuest (a magic game where you buy a wand and gather runes to play quests) as well as lots of other things we didn't do such as bowling, a huge arcade and such. Admission to the waterpark was included with the room so we tried to do that as much as possible. I swore we would not do MagiQuest but then when we got there they gave us a discount and we got a room credit so we used part of that on MagiQuest and I am glad we did! It was really fun.

Also the night we checked in Ava got really sick. She was sleeping on the top bunk and threw up in her bed so we had to call housekeeping in the middle of the night and everything. It was pretty miserable because she was up all night long and of course could not go to the waterpark the next day so that's where the MagiQuest came in. When she got feeling a little better in the afternoon I walked around with her and did some quests.

They had this fun log hopping challenge for anyone brave enough to try it. Honestly it was hilarious just watching anyone that thought they could book it across and stay upright.
